The Doers and the Moaners

Since I have been enjoying my holiday in Malta I have bumped into many of my old friends and aquaintences. It's always great seeing how people progress in their lives as time passes by.

One thing really got me thinking? How come some seem to be loving life more than others.
I started asking the same question to everyone. Instead of how are you I asked them "How is life treating you"?

I'll be honest when I say, a bit more than half of them said "It's always the same here, life is expensive, the euro, the government, the wife, the girlfriend, the job, the pay, the house, business is slow, etc etc etc etc etc etc........

The more I Kept LISTENING the more I kept asking the same question in my head" So what are you going to do about it".

When my turn came to speak, I would not continue in the downward spiral, rather I opted to change the conversation into " Malta is looking absolutely fabulous, the sun is out, there are Tourists everywhere, there must be such great opportunity here"

I had one or two faces stare at me, as if I was an alien. HOW COME THIS GUY IS NOT FEEDING MY NEGATIVITY. The answer, in my opinion is, some people seem to enjoy "THE POOR ME strategy", I don't.

This has happenend to many people who work with me in the Airline Industry. When they tell me all the things they hate about the job, and continue and continue, guess what I say.... So What are you doing here ? What are you doing about it ? Most of them have no answers or say "Ahh well, its because of this this and this.....

Think about it, You are doing what you are doing now, because YOU CHOSE IT, NO ONE ELSE.

Life is what you make it. Some people think that a super natural power is going to come and do everything for them, the answer is

" NO WAY MATE, THAT AINT GONNA HAPPEN"....

This is the time, not tomorrow, not yesterday, TODAY !!

TODAY IS the day, you say, I CAN and I WILL.
You chose your life and NO ONE ELSE.

On the other hand, I was gobsmacked at how well some other friends and aquaintences were doing. They have an Aura around them of passion and love. I could listen to them for hours and never lose interest.

What is the difference between the two ?

I believe their are the DOERS and THE MOANERS.

The moaners are the ones who can do everything, if they could, but for some reason never do. They are great talkers. They live in the past. Talk about the future. They are the Poor ME people. When I revisit some of them after I while, I could ask them the same questions, and I probably would get the same answers......

The Doers, my favourite people, are the people who are not afraid of anything, even defeat. They fall down, they stand up, they continue. Everytime I come visit them, they fascinate me.
They keep trying. They move on. They go with Evolution, they move on, they see the glass half full, they LIVE FOR TODAY and think ABOUT TOMORROW. The DOERS are the ONES who believe in themselves.

What person are you?

Do you want a rich and exciting life ?
Do you want a life full of surprises ?
or
Do you want to sit and dream?
Do you want to sit and moan?

THIS IS YOUR LIFE, THIS IS YOUS CHOICE ?

I hope everytime I bump into you, you enjoy my energy and Aura, cause I am gonna live life to its fullest.

Inspiration Comes Knocking at Your Door

Last week something magical happened to me. I got Inspired by my surroundings.

I woke up very early, just as the sun awoke and yawned it's orange tulip rays down on Xlendi, a Gozitan fishing village, (Malta's sister island) were I stood.

In this serene spectacle my eyes gazed until nearly into a trance like state. Suddenly I was empty of taught, head clear and free.

With this powerful notion I took deep long breathes and felt the pureness of the air. I was feeling fantastic, I started to smile, I was happy. Then I had a feeling, I felt I needed to express my joy, I needed to paint.

Although I have been painting all my life, I have not touched a paint brush in a few years, it's not because I was to busy or just over it, the reason was I lacked inspiration to paint.

So I ask myself what triggers INSPIRATION?

Do we have to be in a relaxed environment to get inspired. Do we need to see someone else's success to get inspired? Can we only succeed in life through inspiration? Does Inspiration stay with us for a short time or can we keep the fire burning?

Personally I feel if Inspiration does not come knocking at your door, you should invite it in your life. Be open to new things. Research New Topics. Find out who is doing what you love and approach them. Be adventurous. Be strong. Keep Your head high. Smile. Be positive. Be aware. Look at the bright side of situations.

With the right frame of mind, Inspiration will knock on your door, and something magical will happen.

When we get inspired, something inside of us changes, a natural force, a feeling of Yesness, a feeling of "I CAN".

If we all got Inspired today, imagine what tomorrow would look like. If I had to say one word to the entire world, it would be YES..

Yes to Believe
Yes to Love
Yes to Enjoy
Yes to be Strong
Yes to Action
Yes to Focus
Yes to INSPIRATION ;)

I hope you enjoyed this one. I hope you got INSPIREd. If you have any feedback or suggestions, I would love to hear from you,
I wish you all a great week,
enjoy life,

Face Your Fears

All my life I have had a fear of heights. Every time I find myself at a high altitude looking down, my heart starts pumping twice its usual rate and I feel uneasy, out of my comfort zone. The irony of all this is I fly for a living.

Since life coaching involves working on goals, one of mine was certainly to overcome this fear, I had to move on. After reading and doing some research I found out this trigger for heights had to come from somewhere.

I thought about it for a while and then I remembered. When I was a kid, probably around the age between 8-10, I climbed a big tree with my friend. Thinking I was as agile as a monkey in his natural surroundings I swung from branch to branch just like my friend did. I was loving this, until to my disappointment a branch gave in and suddenly I was on my way to hell. Thankfully another two branches slowed my impact on ground zero. This event led to a visit to hospital and I still remember vividly the pain I had at the time.

So here it was, everything that happens in your childhood could create triggers and I found mine. Something had to be done.

Only a week ago, my maltese friend Clint, swapped his flight on mine. We were heading to Houston Texas. Amazing.

We had made a few plans for the forty eight hour lay over. The choice was either Nasa, WWF, NBA, Baseball... Then another friend of mine Adrian Grech recommended we go to Six Flags, In Fiesta, San Antonio, three hours from Houston.

Six Flags is notorious around the world as having the best roller costers in the world. What a great opportunity to LET GO of my fear. What a great opportunity to FEEL FREE again.

I felt ready for the new challenge that lay ahead. In my head I had already beaten this obstacle, then I came face to face with reality. Sometimes we focus on the end result and then when we are facing our obstacles, Mr I cannot do it appears. In our minds, he goes "Chicken you cannot do it, impossible, you hate heights, who are you kidding"....

I looked at my friend courageously and put on a brave face and waited for my turn !!! Suddenly I found myself strapped in, No Way out !! Here I was, someone afraid of heights, going on a insane roller coster. I turned to my friend, and panic erupted "Mate cant do it, cant do it".

On top of the edge, the roller coster let free and before I knew it I was turning upside down, round and around....

The feeling was no pleasant, I was so scared instead of crying I laughed so much, I created instant wrinkles.

I taught the first ride was the last one and I would create a great excuse not to continue. Something inside me was saying "Go on brother, it ain't so bad, you CAN DO IT..."

I went on the second, same feeling.. An uncomfortable one.

This is not working at all.....

However something different happened on the third one, I felt confident, truly, deep inside I was enjoying the battle within myself.

Clint could not believe how my focus changed the third time running. I was now showing off, I put both my hands in the air. This symbolic gesture meant freedom in my eyes. In my head I was saying to Mr I cannot "Eat my dust", "Kiss my backside"..

After Superman and Goliath (trust me) my fear was over.

We all have our little battles and Fears to conquer. Some seem meaningless in other peoples eyes. Of course, they do not understand how hard it is on us.

They feel confident - We do not
They can do it - We cannot

And the list goes on and on

Do not be fooled, everyone has that INNER STRENGTH, we all have it, we need to GET IT OUT and USE IT.

You have the strength !!
You have the power!!
Do not fear!!
GO FOR IT.

Sometimes we read on newspapers about regular people who put themselves in dangerous situations to help others.
Usually when they talk about their experience they tell us " Something came over me, I had this inner strength"

I can tell you, when the chance came to overturn my own obstacle I was weary. When I was actually just about to drop into the unknown I had butterflies. When I conquered my fear, I FELT LIKE A KING. It was not bad after all. I actually did not want to stop.

If their is something you need to really do and you know it, just do it, try it. The worst case scenario you will find yourself back at square one. The best scenario you will discover your true potential. I am not telling you to jump out of a plane to seek the adrenaline rush. All I ask is that you TRY.

No Pain, No Gain.

I loved writing this message, I hope you got inspired to kiss your fears goodbye. Be courageous, Go FOR IT!!

If you have any feedback or suggestions I would love to hear from you, I am only a message away.
Keep Smiling and best of all enjoy life,

De-Clutter Your Life

Our home is our castle. Our home is an extension of our own character. The state we keep our own living area reflects on our personalities.

Some people are so organized they label their boxes, color code their clothes and place everything symmetrically. What could this tell you of someone's character ?

Probably they are the type to get to work on time. Make plans and like to stick to them. Keep track of their accounts. These people I call the PERFECTIONISTS.

The good thing about them is that they like to do everything properly. They like a job well done.

The downfall is that some of them do not take feedback well, they know it all.

Then their are those who I call the SOMETIMES people. They like to keep their places clean. Sometimes they feel the need to have a break. Their place can become a mess, but thats ok, cause once the dishes are looking like the tower of pisa, they will take their time to do them.

These people like listening to other people. They get excited about new challenges or goals.

The downfall is, a job done, could be a job half done. They need constant pushing to achieve results.

Then their are the WHATEVER people. Whatever happens will not make a difference. As long as we breathe fresh air that's fine. They are at peace with themselves. Never break a sweat.

The downfall is, life just passes by them, and before they know it, they are far away from their dreams.

We all pretty much fit into one of these three types or share some common elements with each one. Each one of us however is different. We are all original. We all have our own traits. We need to find the elements that will make us stronger and work on them.

One thing we could all benefit from is to De-clutter our lives. When I say this I mean, let go of the useless, keep the needy and make space for the new.

Whenever I get the chance to sit and watch TV, the programs that interest me are those makeover shows, that either change the image or mindset of an individual or those programs that change the living environment or habitat of someone.

Some of these transformations are just incredible.

Since at least one fourth of your time is spent in your own castle, you should consider organizing it, so it's fit for a king or queen (Thats You).

As the years pass by we accumulate so many things. We keep anything and everything. When this question pops up "Should I keep it ? We tell ourselves "Yes of course, maybe my children will want it in the future.....

We find it hard to let go.

What is the best solution ?

I believe less is more.

Why ?

Suddenly everything you have will have more meaning.

Have you ever asked yourself this question ?

If my house was on fire and only three things would be saved, what would they be ?

I would'nt go and grab the skateboard I rode when I was a kid...

No !!! I'd take something that would have that special meaning. Something dear to me.

for my past, I would take - My photos
for the present, I would take - My computer
for the future, I would take - My synthesizer( for music production).

When your place is clutter free, you will be able to relax and de-stress yourselves from a days work. You will be able to smile and laugh. You will be able to unwind.

If your castle is not fit for you, take a full day off and dedicate this day to your personal living environment. Have fun. Get dirty. Let loose. Play some good music. Have a drink.

At the end of the day you will feel a whole lot better. You will be smiling.

Take the time and ask yourself, if I could take more things with me when the castle is burning, what would I take and why would I take it?

If you are honest with yourself, your home will be void of unneeded stuff. and would look Clutter free.

BE CREATIVE - BRING FUN INTO THE GAME

Heck you could even organize a garage sale or join a car boot sale.

This could be a fun day out too. Go with your partner or invite a friend. Make some sandwiches and drinks. Become a good salesman. Meet new people. Have a laugh.

Once the day is over :

a) You could use the money to buy something that has been on your wants list

b) donate the money to your favorite charity

The point of this message is to let go of unneeded baggage, keep what is close to you and look forward to what the future will bring.

If you feel you are already in this living state, yet for some reason, your home is not in tune with yourselves. I suggest you read a book about Feng Shui. This will give you an understanding of energies and a deeper understanding of the main elements.

De-Clutter your lives, let your energies be stronger and smoother.

Enjoy living in your personal space. This is very important. If you are not happy at home, do something about it. Home is where you live. Home is the one place you need to feel good in.

Light some candles, burn some incense, play some music, feel the energy, feed your castle with love.

Life will have a whole new meaning. That's a promise.

I hope you got INSPIREd to take that challenge and de-clutter your lives. If you have any topics you would like to discuss or any feedback or suggestions, please feel free to message me.

On this positive note. I would like to thank you all for the strong support and feedback you have been giving me. I love to write. I love to share whatever I learn or discover. Life is absolutely great. Every day just gets better and better.

Keep Well
Always

Take a Risk

Most of us live in our comfort zone. We do the same things, day in and day out. We get a paycheck every month. Every month we pay our bills. We also end up having the same amount of money to spend each month. This life I call the safe Haven.

The Safe Haven is were people stay in a protected field. They would love to try going out of it sometimes, but outside is out of bounds. Out side is the "But what will happen if" side... These people never risk. Risk is not in their vocabulary. The great side is well, everything will always be the same. The low side is, well everything will be the same.

Then there are the TRY IT ONCE people. They are like the SAFE HAVEN people, yet once in a while, they follow their intuition and step out of their comfort zone. The great side of these people is if they are outside their comfort zone they might get lucky, they might hit the jackpot and suddenly their life would be surreal . The low side is if they go out of their comfort zone and what they try does not work the first time, they give up the fight, they become SAFE HAVEN PEOPLE. They knew deep inside and all along it would not work. Of course it never works. It never works for me. I will never try it again.

Then there are the SO BLOODY WHAT people. They could bet their mama's knickers that what they do is going to work. The great side of them is, they keep trying and trying. The low side is, they are going to fail sometimes, but so what.

Many of us look up to them. Oh I wish I could be like them. They have it all. Why are we different....

We all pretty much share some of these elements. I have lived all three. I get paid every month by the company I work for. Same bills every month. I know how much I make. I feel safe. I have tried things once and taught. It never works for me. Why ? Does success always happen to others.... I have also been on the lets risk it all and just have some faith...

I believe to get a life worth living for, you should be shuffling between the three. Sometimes you have to risk a lot. WIth that risk can come stability and peace of mind. Then once everything becomes comfortable again, maybe you can try or risk again to get at an even better place. Worst case you go back to the start. So WHAT.....

...................................................................................................

A risk in my eyes means, doing something without knowing the consequence or final result. Of course with such a definition, why would you take a risk?

Calculated risks ?

Ok, so your life has been the same for the last five years. Actually at the pace you are going, I can predict it will continue to be the same for another ten. I love my job. I love my house. I wish I had more time to travel ? So what if I took an equity fund from my house and buy those shares my cousin is talking about. A new CEO is going to take over and there are plans for expansion. Should I buy some shares in the company? It is a calculated risk. Yes, I am going to do it. If I do so I could make some money and finally do the traveling I have always wanted to do.

Faith risks ?

I have been living in the same country for 10 years now. Same old thing, same old place. TO be honest it is getting a bit boring. WHat would happen if I packed my bags and left tomorrow. How great it would be to live in Paris. Oh Paris, so romantic. What if I decided I want to live there. Should I try it ? Should I ?

Have some faith in yourself, have some faith in life. Everything happens for a reason and everything will work out. You just need to have faith.

Risk it all ?

I am ready to risk it all. I have faith in myself. I know I can do it. I know it will happen. I will quit my job tomorrow. I will then look for an investor to invest in my project. I will succeed, there is no option. I can. I will.

Life is full of surprises. Thats the way it should be. Sometimes we have to try a little if we want to be surprised. Sometimes we have to risk a little in order to better our lives. Sometimes we have to risk a lot to change the way we live today. You have the power to take decisions. Remember a decision taken is better than no decision at all. Do not be afraid of trying. Do not be afraid of taking a small risk.

If you have had something on your mind for some time. Your gut intuition tells you, I should, I should. Then do it. It is a risk of course. But what if it works. Then what ;)
If it does not work, fantastic. This means I will try another strategy next time.

Do not go gamble everything you have worked for at the casino. That is no risk. That would be insane. However if you have that feeling deep inside, follow it, follow your heart.

Take a risk, take a calculated risk, don't look back, look forward and believe...

I hope you got INSPIREd to have some faith. If you would like to discuss any topic, or have any feedback or suggestions, please feel free to message me.
Till then.

Keep WELL
Have A FANTASTIC weekend
and keep smiling ;)

The Present

About two years ago I read this easy to read book called "The Present". The book talked about the three phases of life, the past, the present and the future. It explained each area with easy examples. I liked this book very much, because in all its simplicity, it struck a chord deep in my soul.

This is some of my shared and own thoughts of the subject.

The Past

We all have a past. We all have memories. Some are great. Some not as good. The past has passed. We can remember it. We can think about it. We can learn from it. The past is not the present. The past is not the future.

Some of us can look back at the past and use our memories to overcome todays challenges. This we call experience.

Some of us tend to live in the past.
"Oh life was so great when we used to live here", "I always had money", "I was fit and healthy", "I ran five k's every day".

Over the years, I have noticed that quite a few of us live in the past. Let me tell you "The PAST has PASSED, MOVE ON". I know you did so great. You can talk about the past and tell me all your successes, your achievements, I know how great you were. But what about today !! What about tomorrow !!

The Present

Guess why "The present" is called the present. Well it really means "The gift of life", "the Now", not "the Yesterday". I think they should have called the present, "THE GIFT", why, because if you use this beautiful gift called life, the present will be ever so present.

Live in the Now, live in Today. Take small actions every day to make your present fruitful and fulfilling.

Today should be the best day of your life. Today you are here. Today you have the energy to move mountains. This is your present. This is your gift. Enjoy your gift. You have this gift every moment of your life.

When you open a gift how do you feel ? Excited, Curious, Happy. Life should be like this.

The Future

As we focus on the now. Take some time to focus on the future. Build your castle brick by brick. Like the turtle who moves slowly, you will get to the finish line, you will build your castle.

The future can be great. The future is the present tomorrow.

I was watching the cartoon animation Kung-fu Panda when at one stage, a quote was mentioned "Thats why the present is called the present (because it is a gift)". As soon as I heard that quote, it triggered me to rethink about what I had read. I had to share it with you.

The Past, The Present and The Future are all very important. Make the Present become worthy for a good past. Make the Present become worthy of a good future. Remind yourself, Life is what you make it, so make it happen.

This is my present to you
Keep Well

Friends are For Life

During our life we meet many interesting people. We find we can connect to some more than others. We share the same values, morales and ethics. We have lots of things in common. These people become a big part of our lives. These people become our close confidants. We call these people our friends.

Friends are a very important balance in our personal lives. We have to spend time with our friends not because we have too, but because we should do.

Some of us get into a relationship and suddenly forget about our friends. Why ? Is it for fear of our partners. If this is the reason then, you need to find a better balance with your partner.

Rochelle and I make it a point to meet our friends regularly. This keeps our life well balanced. I love being in the company of my wife, of course, I married her ;) , however sometimes I just want to hang around my buddies, have a beer and talk about music.

Dedicate one night during the week to meet up with your friends and tell your partner to do the same. The guys can go play football, release some energy and the ladies can meet up and indulge in multiple delights, such as their favorites chocolates and wine (Saw that on TV).

Make the event a fun one. It should be. They are your best friends.

As we evolve in our lives, some of us can change our friends, not because we lose out, No !! Because of our circumstances. Some of us go to live overseas. Some of us change schools. Some of us change jobs. Some of us work completely different hours.

Like many of you I am sure, I feel blessed to have met many amazing friends along life's wonderful journey. I am even Godfather to one of my best friends daughter.

As time passes by, and because I have lived in three different continents I sometimes take a day during the month and dedicate it to my friends. I make sure I write an e mail or give my friends a call. This always excites me. I love my friends very much. Now some of us males find it hard to express their feelings. I think it is a whole load of nonsense. I tell all my friends I love them and that feels great.

Sometimes we need to remind our friends how fortunate we are to have them. We do not have to go all Lovey dovey with them. Instead you can invite them over to your place for a nice meal. Buy them a small present. Something with meaning. Thank them for being around, in the good times and the bad.

So here it is all short and sweet. If you have some good friends who you have not talked to in ages. Pick up the phone and give them a ring. If you have a night off. Make it a point to invite your friends over for a fun night in. Make a themed night, be creative. If you never get to see your friends. Create one day during the week to meet up.

I know for a fact your relationships will improve. Your life will be well balanced.
I hope you enjoyed this message and have got INSPIREd to initiate a friends night, if you have any feedback, comments or suggestions I would be very happy to hear from you.

Keep Your Friendship alive,
All the best
As Always

Another Brick In the Wall

Persistence is the mother of all achievements. If we do not persist, we will never truly know what we are capable of. IF YOU PERSIST YOU WILL ACHIEVE.

Most of the time we come face to face with a brick wall. Sometimes we can see the top of the wall and we know if we try hard enough, maybe using a ladder or a strong branch from the tree next to the wall we will somehow climb over it and get our reward.

Sometimes we have to think of different solutions as nothing, no idea comes to us. We could brainstorm ideas with our friends or family. If we still do not come up with a solution we could do further research. We keep on trying and trying, then suddenly it hits us, there is no way we can do it.

What should we do ? What will happen now?

This goes in any areas of our lives (Relationships, Finance, Career etc). If you use all your energy and you have tried every single way to deal with a situation and there is no way through it. Maybe the wall should never be climbed. Maybe we have to go around it. Maybe we have to eliminate the wall completely in our minds and move on. SO WHAT... Its not the end of the world.

For over half a year, I had been trying to get a second mortgage in Dubai. I tried every single bank available. I gave them all the paperwork they needed. I put in many hours of hard work in my free time. I needed to climb the wall of my own success. I tried using the ladder, branches, I even tried to climb it bare hands. The result was poorly. No bank would give me a second motrgage. Yet in my mind I knew I could not let this opportunity go by me. I said to myself, well if I cannot have the whole cake, why not have a good part of it instead.

For the first time I set up a business proposal and offered it to someone who I can confide in. He accepted my proposal and six months to date, we are very close to closing a deal on a shared property in Dubai.

I can tell you the reward today is truly overwhelming. I really appreciate all the work I have put in it.

If I had not thought of the business proposal I think I would have left this opportunity go. I would have tried another financial wall to climb.

If you truly believe in yourself, climb the wall, keep climbing do not stop. If you believe your energy is being waisted, I believe it is ok to turn around and think of something different.

The idea is to persist in whatever you do, it's just another brick in the wall...

If you want to get good financial ideas, I would recommend you read "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill.

This has been a short message,
I do hope you have got INSPIREd to climb your own wall,
If you CANT, MOVE ON, and KEEP ON, KEEP PERSISTING and Life will be FAN TAS TIC,

If you have any feedback, suggestions or topics you would like to discuss please send me a line or write a comment on INSPIRE's WALL,

Thanks and Keep Well

Love Is

Two weeks ago my parents celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. Thats amazing. Thats a lifetime. I look up to them for many reasons. One for the love and passion they share and secondly for always looking at everything in a positive way.

When I asked my mother how they both did it she would say “It’s all about love, all about communication, all about working together as a team”. She also mentioned it was not all plain sailing. Sometimes along the ways they would not see eye to eye, yet as they grew together they accepted each others petit flaws. In my opinion a lasting relationship is a life you want to share with your partner. This means enjoying all life’s experiences together during the good and the not so good times.

I also believe that before you have a relationship with someone you have to be happy primarily with yourself. Why is this ? Well, if you think about it, if you are not happy within and go into a relationship then you give up and give in to your partners life. Some people live for there partners, yet have no life of there own. It is very important to be an individual that appreciates your own life. Why again? I call this one regrets.

You could suddenly find yourself in relationship and although on the outside you seem happy, yet, deep inside you know this is not the case. My relationship with my wife works wonders. We understand that we are both individuals who have there own likes and dislikes and although like my parents if we do not see eye to eye in some cases, we respect each other and we communicate.

It is very important to have your own hobbies too. A hobby is a pass time that should be kept for your own satisfaction. A “Me, myself and I “time that you dedicate to yourself. I am not saying having a relationship but only do things by yourself. NO!! Have a relationship, enjoy each others company and also enjoy your own company. Meet up with your friends on a regular basis. This keeps your relationship healthy. I know when I am with my friends I always send a few messages to my wife. It makes me appreciate her more.

If you are in a relationship, and are having difficulties, communicate to each other. What is bothering you ? Why are we both acting like this ? DO we have a situation ? Sometimes it takes less then a few seconds to get to understand each other. Remember why you are in relationship the first place. I’ll tell you. It’s because when you looked at each other, eye to eye, it sent shivers down your spine, now that's amore ;)

It’s funny when I hear crew saying “Life was much better when I was single” and other s saying “I wish I had a partner”. BINGO. Firstly, Be happy with yourselves. If you are then, single life is great. A partner is a bonus. Then you can say “My single life is great I do what I want and I am happy” or “My relationship is great, I am so happy we love and respect each other”.

I do hope you get inspired to find love or work on it in this message, I do hope you are happy within yourselves primarily.
If you have any feedback, suggestions or topics you would like to discuss,
please feel free to send me a line or write something on Successlodge's Wall,

thanks and have a great day,

Getting What You Want

Imagine how great it would be to get everything you wanted. Imagine if there was a formula you could use to achieve anything. I bet if you knew the formula and you put some energy into it, you would reap the rewards of the end result.

The formula is A + B = C

A - Represents all the skills, knowledge, education and experience you have.
B - Represents all the skills, knowledge, education and experience you do not have.
C - Is your final goal.

I tried the formula myself to see how it works and I was amazed to see that my main goal is coming closer.

My main goal (C) is to become a well known successful life coach that supports himself through his life coaching work.

So I wrote down all the (A) skills, knowledge, education and experience I had since I became a life coach.

Then I wrote down all the (B) skills, knowledge, education, experience that I did not possess.

So the formula said by gaining all the skills, knowledge, education and experience I could get my main goal.

So I wrote down my two lists, A and B to achieve C and there were two areas in which I needed more experience, I had some knowledge in the area but was no expert. I am definitely not a Nutritionist nor a personal fitness trainer, yet in my life coaching package, some of my clients want to have a better understanding of food and of fitness. Although I could motivate and inspire them to start taking care of their bodies and to exercise, I would need professionals to guide them and be more hands on with them in this area. Therefore I started to see who I could include in my network of INSPIRE.

By messaging people and asking around I found a personal trainer, who is as POSITIVE as me. I told him how he could be part of my team. He is currently gathering the information necessary for me to prepare a Portfolio to present to my clients.

I am still looking for a Nutritionist in MAlta, and once I find that person I would be a stones throw away from my goal.

Now imagine you had an idea. You knew it would work. You believed in yourself, yet for some silly, reason like, " I will not open my own restaurant, because I do not know accounting." you do not go ahead with your venture. Well, guess what, you are not the only one, there are others out there who are not accountants too. You cannot be everything. If it is only taking an accountant to fulfill your ambition of being a restauranteur then hey, find one.

Another example would be, you want to become a teacher. You have an A level standard of education and have had previous teaching experience (A) but this partiuclar school you would like to work for wants you to have a basic certificate in computer skills (B).

Your goal is to become a teacher at this school. Your goal would be to get the skills required (B). You know the computer program is a six month course. If you attain this course you will become a teacher, it is s easy as that.

I have applied this formula from Paul McKenna, author and business man, and I have used it in all areas of my own personal life. It works, it really does. FInd out everything you need to have (B) to get your goal, and along with your (A)skills, education, finance, knowledge, fitness level, you will achieve results if you take action.

In order to achieve my goal, I would need people to know about my services. I Therefore used the formula to find ways to increase my networking. With the skills and experience I had (A) I found two ways to start the process. Sunday September the 14th, my first Life Coaching Article "It's not complicated" comes out on FM magazine in Malta (it has a distribution of 30,000). My website www.successlodge.com shall be launched on the same day.

You too can achieve your goals. Try using the formula and see what happens. I know it will work.

I hope you have got INSPIREd to get what you really want.

My Job Sucks

Time and Time again people tell me how they hate their jobs. Hate in my vocabulary is a very strong word. In my mind I am thinking "so what are you going to do about it"... Then reality strucks in. "I cannot leave my job because I have financial responsabilities". Then they continue with someone else "Oh I hate my job or my job sucks", and this goes on and on.

The secret is to find a job that you would do anyway even if you did not get paid for it. There is a quote by Confucius that says "Find a job that you love and you will never have to work another day in your life".

Your work consists of half of your life. Most work hours are about 35-50 hours a week, some of us work up to 70 hours a week.

The fact is, if you are working so many hours. Why not chose a job you love. Your job consists of half of your life. This means if you are not happy in your job, you are missing out on half of your life. The biggest and best excuse is, we cannot find this job, this dream job does not exist.

Well, if you do not try to find it, it wont come finding you. The more you insist and persist, the most likely you are to get the job you truly deserve.

A close friend of mine was working in a job that had no interest to him whatsoever. He worked this job for many years. The last two years he was simply miserable. His job paid him well, yet only the money was motivating him to stay further.

Today he left his job and has started his own company. He is still in the process of making his companies vision a true reality, but he is working hard to attain his goal.

The first time my wife saw him after he left his job, she whispered in my ear "Wow, he looks like a different person", I smiled and said "YES, his Aura says it all".

Everything takes effort, or like people like to say, "some guts". but when you make the effort for positive change, everything will be worth while.

As a life coach I like to extract all the information possible from you and then through questioning and tailor made exercises I will manage to find your dream job.

This one time I had one client (I asked him wether I could get his consent for using this particular example) who I asked so What do you love to do mostly in your life ? His answer was simple "I love sports" I then asked him if he could elaborate or give me one sport in particular he loved mostly. He said football.

He was soft spoken, maybe shy, but he had one passion, he lived for sports and football was his number one ambition in life.

Ok so football, what could you do as a job that was related to football, I asked him to fire out the endless possibilities of jobs related to football.

A football player, a football coach, a football sports commentator, a football scout, own a football retail outlet, sell tickets at the football stadium, a football cafe, and on and on we went.

Suddenly he had a big smile, and he uttered two words " I Know". That was it, I did not want to get into his head, his mindset had shifted into the right direction, he knew what had to be done.

WHat about you ? What is your ambition ? Whats your passion ? What do you love to do the most ?. Get a friend or two and brainstorm some ideas, even the most radical and outrageous ideas regarding your passion. Once your list has a minimum of at least ten opportunities, go through them and ask yourself, What would it take me to achieve my goals (time and money) ? Narrow the choices with questions regarding, working hours, pay and conditions, opportunities etc. Once your mind is set on one job, find the ways and mean of attaining this ambition. I can tell you, you will have a BIG SMILE and you WILL KNOW too.

If you are not happy at work, maybe its time to move out and move on, if you are not happy at work for other reasons, sort out the situation once and for all. THIS IS YOUR LIFE and NO ONE ELSE'S.

Keep Well,
If you have any feedback or suggestions,
please feel free to message me,
till then enjoy life and keep smiling

Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone

I just read the book called "the answer" by John Assaraf, he was one of the people who participated in the book, "the Secret" and there was one part that I thought I would share with you.

His son was coming of age to start prelimary school. What John did was feed his son with great stories about the school he was attending, like "you should see what great games they have there" or "imagine what fun it is going to be, all the children are your age and they like to play too".

The day John took his son to school, his son could barely wait, as soon as he went near the school door, he ran quickly barely telling his father bye. Only a few meters away another father was wishing his son a good day, however unlike John's son, the boy cried and cried, he did not want to leave the comfort of his father, why ? This was not something he was used too, it was outside his comfort zone.

Many of us feel like this in our every day lives. We practically do the same thing all the time, we hardly go out our comfort zone. What happens then is we condition ourselves to do the same thing all the time. We restrict our true potential. (You know what they say, if you do the same thing all the time, you will get the same results)

Sometimes we have a spark of faith and something deep inside tells us we should try something different. We then try something different for the first time and we do not succeed. We tell ourselves this was out of our reach. Then we try again and again we do not achieve what we wanted to achieve. Suddenly we close the doors. We will never try this again. WHy should we, every time we try we do not succeed. Then a life time passes and we miss out on great opportunities.

Now imagine we keep trying until we get it right or we achieve what we wanted to achieve. How good would that feel. We try something new and again we succeed. This is what you really want. You want to achieve everything you put your mind too. So what if you fail. Ask yourself, what did I learn from this experience. What can I do differently next time.

The answer is to keep trying until you win. When you win the first time try again until you win the second. When you win the second time try again until you win the third time. Eventually the area outside your comfort zone will become your comfort zone. You will look back and say to yourself "Piece of cake", " Ican do it over and over again".

Did you know that if a successful business man had his money taken away, he would remake a good amount of it in about two years.

Have you ever told yourself during the olympics, at one stage it will be impossible to break some records, I mean how fast can a man run and how high can he jump. Yet every olympics world records are broken all the time. If an athlete had to limit himself to what he believes is possible then that athlete would never break any records. During the olympics some athletes got way out of there comfort zone and aimed as high as the sky. In return they got a gold medal.

We all want our gold medals. We have to get out of our comfort zone to get them.

Think of what you can achieve !! Now double your efforts !! Double them again and again.

Eventually you will succeed. When you do. Do it again and again. Then eventually this will become habit. Remember do not limit yourself. Many people might tell you "you cannot" or "you dont have the skills to do it", yet truly, I know, YOU DO...

Now that is the ANSWER.
I hope you enjoyed this message,
I hope you got INSPIREd to get outside your comfort zone,
If you have any feedback or suggestions,
please feel free to message me,

Keep Well :)

What a Beautiful Day

Imagine today is the best day of your life. You have a feeling of serenity and tranquility. Your mind is at peace with yourself. You are free. Your beautiful smile says it all and your eyes are shinning like the sun so bright. What a great feeling ? What a beautiful day ? This is how life really is if you have the courage to embrace it.

Everything around us can put us down, everyone we meet could make us feel low. But no. Not you. You are the luckiest person on this planet. You have a roof over your head. You have food and water. You are one of the wealthiest people in the world.

Some days we feel low. Some days Life's pressures come knocking at our doors. Everything is happening to us....

Yet if we open our eyes and realize that we sometimes get upset with the silliest of things, our lives will have a whole new meaning.

The fortunes of life have been laid on our tables. We should be dancing and singing everyday. This is our life. We must embrace it.

Create meaning in your life, pass on the goodness, be kind, be passionate, live and let live, love and be loved.

A few years ago I had an accident in Thailand. I was sitting at the back of a pickup van when I was accidentally pushed off by a local friend who slipped whilst changing seats.I remember everything in slow motion and a car that missed me by a meter.

The adrenaline kicked in and as I stopped rolling I ran to the side. Everything after that was blurry. Yet when I awoke next morning, I remember the doctor at the American Hospital say " How are you feeling ? I said "Its a beautiful day". I believe that answer came to me in my appreciation of life. (Recently a member of Inspire, shared with me a life sharing story, hopefully he will forward it to you all)

Everything that happens in our live triggers who we are. We can sit down and complain or we can STAND UP and RISE. Everyday should be a beautiful day, everyday can be beautiful, it all depends on you.

Gandhi once said "You are the change that can make it happen", so change your mindset. Make this a beautiful day.

Keep Well
Hope you Enjoyed this message.

Choices

e make choices everyday of our lives. Life is all about the choices we make. Sometimes we make good choices and sometimes we make "not so good ones". The choices we have made during our lifetime have made us who we are.

At school we were given a choice/s of what we wanted to study as a major. If you were studying Languages you would probably not become a scientist. If you studied accounts you would probably not become a poet and so on. YOUR EVERY CHOICE COUNTS.

Everyday we are given a choice/s. We choose what we wear, the food we eat and what we do during our day. Although we might not always chose the best choice, any decision is better than none. As we grow older and we learn more, we base our choices on our own experience and on the information we know. As time passes by, we make choices without really thinking of the outcome. Why is this ? I'll tell you, its because we know ourselves best, we know what we want and we know what we like..

But, What if we really took a moment and thought through each choice? What if we took an extra minute to really think wisely about the outcome? Do you think our life would change ?

The Answer is Yes. Like I mentioned, the choices we have made have made us who we are. Therfore EVERY CHOICE COUNTS.

So if you have any decisions to make, take the time and ask yourselves what would the outcome be.

Example- Your finances are low, you find yourself at a shop with your friend and you spot something you like. It's expensive, but you really love it. You start picturing all the benefits you shall gain. You go on your gutt instinct and purchase the item. Then you feel a little discomfort. Why is this ? Well, if you are that broke, why should'nt you takle your finances first, save money and then treat yourself once in a while.

Now Imagine you spend that extra minute to truly think about the choices laid infront of you. Shall I a) buy the item and be even more broke b) save the temptation and save my pockets this time. Do you get the picture? Your mind is your most powerful tool. Use it. It will always be there for you.

Life is all about choices. Choose wisely. Take Your Time. There is no hurry, yet a decision has to be made. I believe now is the time for you to take control of your own destiny. Make the right choice. Be Wise.

I hope you enjoyed this short message,
if you have any feedback, suggestions or any topics of discussion, please feel free to message me, I love hearing from you, thanks
Keep Well

Out With The Old and in With the NEW

I never like to talk about politics. However today I could mention that a new leader in the United States was much needed. The reason why I would like to mention the New Presidents mission is because it can be taken as an example to one’s own life.

If you know deep inside that what you are doing is wrong, then why do you keep on doing it ?
Sometimes we need a little kick in our backside or a confidence boost by someone close to us. The fact of the truth is we keep waiting for people to come in our lives and change it for the best. Well, here is the truth, it is probably not going to happen.

So imagine your life the last few years has been like the life of the United States of America. Imagine your own economy is low. Imagine your health is like the global warming that is occurring right now. Imagine all is pair shaped. What do you need to take action? Do you need to wait for a trigger, like the elections, and hope that someone will make the change for you ?

Get hold of what is rightfully yours. Acknowledge your mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes make us stronger because we learn from them. Make your own speech to your conscious and subconscious minds. Stand up for yourself. Win your own elections. Start from scratch.

If you have opportunities and feel scared of taking the challenge, have some faith in yourself. Do not look at all the things that could go wrong, rather look at all the things that could go right. It can happen. It will happen.

As I mentioned in my last message I was hired by a well established real estate agency. The week I was meant to start an opportunity came along for me to get more credits for my life coaching. I had to make a choice. I would either go for the job that would secure money for Rochelle, Milo (our puppy) and myself or I could spend money on my education and think about my future goal.

I believe in my goal so much, that when I told my wife about my decision to go overseas for a few weeks to get more credits, she only supported my decision.

I recently met a group member of Inspire. She loves my messages and she had wanted to meet me. When we met up after a life coaching session, we discussed all the great opportunities that lay ahead. She then told me one amazing story.

She was in a job that she liked but did not love. She felt that the management had no leadership skills and that there was no communication with the employees. This got her frustrated. Yet, she used this frustration to make something out of it.

She made a conscious decision to make change. She is now on the board of the JCI. A group of young enthusiastic leaders that want to make a difference. On the 28th of the month I have been invited to attend.

Great things can happen to you too. Listen to your heart. Be truthful to yourself. Ask yourself the right questions. Ask yourself if what you are doing is in tune with yourself. Ask yourself if this is exactly were you want to be. Ask yourself, do I need Change ?

I would vote any day for you. I believe you can make it. Be the President of your own life. Take control, make positive change.

I do hope you have enjoyed this message like I have. I hope you got inspired to make good positive change. If you have any feedback or suggestions. Please feel free to send me a message.

Keep Well and enjoy life :)

Grandmothers Wisdom

Peter always seemed to be so preoccupied. He played with his toys from morning till night. The only time he put his toys down was when it was time to eat.

During his meal he would go on and on about his toys and how he wished he had more. HIs grandmother who brought him up, used to always listen to him and she cared for him very much.

She was waiting for that special morning. SHe was waiting to share some of her wisdom with him.

One fine day Peter got up in the morning and for some odd reason did not feel like playing with his toys. He did not even mention all the toys he did not have.

Grandmother knew today was the day she would share some of her wisdom.

She called Peter to the Garden. Peter went running as Grandmother never really called him. When he arrived she told him "Come along Peter, hold my hand, I want to take you somewhere, today is a special day"

Peter grabbed hold of his Grandmothers hand and they walked passed the gardens on to the hills. Peter was quiet at first, but as they walked he started talking again. Grandmother listened and smiled.

When they reached the top of the hill they could see a spectacular 360 view of the village, their house and the blue lake. Peter never really noticed this spectacle. Then Grandmother put her finger in front of her lips and told Peter to remain silent. Peter kept on talking and Grandmother insisted he remained silent. Then she told him "Peter Listen".....Listen Carefully"

Suddenly Peter stopped talking and Listened. His head was tilted slightly forward as if he was trying to get more attention from the sounds that came before him. Something magical was happening and he seemed to be really absorbing it all.

He heard the birds sing to each other as they passed over their heads. He heard the bees buzzing on the beautiful flowers that lay before them. He heard the sound of the wind, brushing along his ears and neck. He could see everything that lay before him and around him. These sensations were all happening at once.

He whispered "Wow" to his grandmother. Grandmother never heard him say "Wow" to any of his toys. She knew he got it. She knew he was finally ready.

Peter realized that he had the whole world to live for. He realized that there was beauty all around him. He realized that life was beautiful and he had everything he wanted. It was always in front of him.

Peter turned towards his grandmother and told her "Thank you" and hugged her.

After the Rain Comes The Sun

Imagine our life is like the weather. Sometimes we feel warm and full of energy. Sometimes we feel drained and wet. Sometimes we have so much energy we blow out in anger.

Imagine we had total control of each season. Imagine we learned how to deal them.

We are only human and sometimes we do feel drained. This can happen when we are stressed by the circumstances we find ourselves in.

I remember, when I was 23 years young,I owed a whole lot of money. On the outside I looked fine, but on the inside I was down. I could not feel content with the situation I found myself in. Instead of dealing with my finances, I put them to the side. In effect, I was spending more than I actually earned.

Deep inside I knew I was doing more damage, yet I kept on.

When it is raining you must take an umbrella outside with you otherwise you will get wet. You could stay outside under the umbrella all day and all night and will not feel warm, yet you will not get wet. The good news is, at some stage the rain will stop and the sun will come out.

If you use this as a metaphor to your own life you will realize that any situation can be dealt with. The Sun will come out and shine on you.

Here's your chance to ignite the true passion of life that is kept deep inside you.

Deal with your own seasons. Find out the possibilities each season offers. Think of the season that you love the most, and know, that it will come soon.

You can think a lot and be positive, however without any action nothing will happen. Take your umbrella outside and push that heavy rain away. Stay there until the rain has gone, then the sun will appear.

After three times I learned my financial lesson. Why three times ? Well, I was stubborn. I thought I was better than the money I did not have. I was wrong. I knew all along. Now, well, I have learned from my mistakes. It was an expensive lesson, that cost me time and money.

I can gladly say that everyday is a sunny day in my eyes. I have kissed the rain away. I found the season I love and I will be enjoying it till as long as I can.

Maybe it's time for you to jump on the bandwagon. DO IT NOW. It is never to late to find the right season ;)

I hope you enjoyed this message and have got INSPIREd, if you have any feedback, suggestions or any topics you would like to discuss, please feel free to message me.

In the meantime, I will continue my life coaching sessions in Malta from Monday 16th february, as I am going overseas to get some more credits for my life coaching.

In two days time I celebrate my 34 b day. Life just keeps getting better. For my b day I would like to donate blood to the local hospital and I am pledging for you to do the same. If you are interested send me a message, this will happen on Monday 23rd february. Here you will have the chance to meet other members of this group who live in Malta. If you are living outside Malta, well, make an appointment, donate blood. You will save lives, thats a fact, and a great one ;)

Thanks again

The Calling

All my life I have dreamt of making a difference. I knew that my life’s mission was to give a helping hand, however, I never knew how I would do this. I never knew what would come my way, but I had Faith, and I took action.

Life coaching was my first step into my life’s mission and although there were times I had my doubts, I tried keeping my head high and kept on. I tried my new learned skills on my friends and got feedback, then I coached my work colleagues. I kept practicing and studying and worked very hard to achieve my purpose.

When I recently decided to further my studies, both my wife Rochelle and I had to make some financial decisions. The questions were “Would I keep studying until I got where I really wanted to go ? or Would I stop half way and take whatever came my way ?
There was no option in my eyes. I had to continue studying.

While I was doing my NLP practitioner last week, the most amazing thing happened to me. I got my Calling. My life’s purpose was clear and bright. This feeling was amazing. I could hear my internal voice talking to me. I smelt all the goodness. Wow.

I turned to the NLP Master and told her about my calling. She listened to me carefully and smiled. Things do happen for a reason, especially when we have faith. I knew now exactly my life’s purpose. I knew what I needed to do.

I want to help people with fears, addictions and phobias and I want to help people who do not enjoy there own reality. I will use my NLP technics, skills and tools to do so.

Do not get me wrong, the road ahead will be challenging, however, without challenge I could not succeed. Confirming my calling to you will challenge me to succeed. In the meantime I have become a licensed NLP practitioner. I will combine both my speciality skills together. Like this, I am an open house, ready to welcome good positive change in anyone’s life (Feel free to message me anytime).

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the beautiful messages you have been sending to me over time. I feel very humble to have you in this group and I am simply amazed how we are growing. The future looks very bright and I am glad we are sharing this experience together.

Life is beautiful and can be beautiful. I know sometimes we get impatient. I know sometimes we wait for results. It can take a long time or it can take a minute. One thing is for sure, the universe will deliver positive things to us, we just have to have faith. Reach out for the things you want and I know you will get them. Maybe you have already got your calling or maybe you are still waiting. It will happen.

Keep Well :)

Self Confidence

Some of us build up confidence through acknowledgment from others. Some of us build self confidence from the voice within.
Sometimes we do not get that acknowledgment from others and sometimes we do not build up self confidence from within.

So how can we become confident more often ? Do we need to get acknowledgment from others ? or Can we simply reprogram the way we use our inner voices.

During my NLP course I had to think of a previous time when I was really confident. During the exercise I told my teacher, where, when and how I build that confidence.

Once the exercise was over I knew how my mind worked. I knew what sparked the confidence I had. I have now reprogramed my mind to become confident all the time.

The way we look, the way we speak to ourselves, the way we approach things, or the way others perceive us, can be barriers to our confidence, but they can also be confident triggers.

I remember I went to a party nine years ago. I wore a wig. I looked like ANdy Warhol. This new look gave me a Persona that I carried throughout the night. I was different. If I was confident or not it did not matter. What did matter was that Reprograming my mind for that one night made me someone else. I am not telling you to become someone else, rather to become the confident person you can be.

There are people who use plastic surgery to build this confidence. Some of these people still feel they lack confidence even after surgery. Why ?

They have changed on the outside, however, they have not changed on the inside.

So what if we put an invisible wig or mask and changed our internal dialogue to Mr/Mrs Confidence . How would things change ?

You will see difference. You will see change. You see, when motivational speakers, politicians, singers and even comedians come on stage, they psych themselves up, until they are SUPER CONFIDENT. Some put their invisible confident masks on, and others talk positively within.

The result is. They become Confident. Then they perform.

We are who we are and we can make positive change. We all have the power to talk positively to ourselves. If we train our mind to do so every day, our subconscious will eventually believe it, and confidence will happen.

Try motivating yourself every day. You could do this in front of the mirror or simply find a quiet corner and build up your internal dialogue. You might visualize an experience you once had and use it as an anchor to confidence, or you could change that inner voice and replace it with what you want to hear.

I am confident you can try this out, I am confident you will see change. We can all have doubts, yet we can all try to be confident. Trying is better than not trying.

Be confident in whatever you do and remember failure is only feedback, nothing else.

I remember seeing Cameron Diaz on TV during some awards. As she walked on the red carpet her high heel broke and she nearly made it to the floor. Rather than shying it out or crying, she got up, picked her heel and had a small laugh. She probably used her self confidence dialogue to get up and walk the walk. Now thats confidence (Remember, she was being watched by millions of people)

Thats the way to do it, get up, do not worry, build your confidence today.

I do hope you have got INSPIREd,
I do hope you feel confident to TRY,
If you have any suggestions, topics or feedback you would like to give me,
feel free to message me,

Keep Well
Be strong ;)

Mission Impossible

How possible is it for change to happen in any area of my life ?
In my health ? My finance ? My career ? My Relationships ? My Personal Growth ?

"I mean I can never get fit and healthy, these diets never work, it's a whole load of crap"

"I will never be rich, only people who already have money can be rich"

"I have no qualifications, I can never get a good job" or "I have qualifications but no experience, no one will hire me"

"My love life sucks, the romance is dying"

"I hate reading, and anyway there is nothing out there that interests me"

Some of us might relate to some of the above. We are only human after all and not everything can be perfect.......

WHat if we asked ourselves these 3 questions in the area that needs particular attention?

THE QUESTIONS

What effect will not changing (my finances, my health, my career, my relationship, my personal growth) have on me ?

What will it really cost me in one year, five years, ten years from now?

What exactly/specifically can I do now to get back on my feet ?

IF YOU HAVE AN AREA YOU WANT TO TACKLE, TAKE YOUR TIME TO ANSWER THE 3 QUESTIONS ABOVE, THEN CONTINUE READING

NOW TAKE MASSIVE ACTION AND DO THIS FOR 10DAYS STRAIGHT. IT ONLY TAKES TEN DAYS IN MY OPINION TO GET THE BALL ROLLING. TEN DAYS OF YOUR LIFE (TAKE MASSIVE ACTION)

These three questions are very direct.
They make you use your brain.

If you know your finances are all over the place, what are you waiting for ? Are you waiting to get bankrupt.
TAke some action, be responsable. Ok, you spent too much. Well now do something about it. Pay the bills with the highest interests. Be in control.

Your love life is sinking as we speak. Talk with your partner. Be honest and sincere. There is nothing better. Give a chance to romance. Love each others flaws, no one is perfect.

You hate your career. Then do something about it. Do you want to miss out on all the opportunities out there. COme on. You are better then that.

Some of us like to leave everything for tomorrow. Trust me on this. Tomorrow + Another Tomorrow = A pile up

Rochelle and I are in and out of our place at different times sometimes. We both use the kitchen. Sometimes we leave a few dirty dishes in the sink, then by night, the little pile seems like the whole kitchen utensils have been used...

Imagine your life was like a kitchen.
You kept it clean, organized and scented.
Everything you made in the kitchen was made with love.

Would your life be better....

YOU BET :)

I might have been a bit too direct during this message.
Sometimes a little wake up call is good for all of us.
I can relate to nearly every situation mentioned,
so Yes, sometimes we MUST ask ourselves what needs to be done, cause it ain't MISSION IMPOSSIBLE

I hope you got inspired and enjoyed this message like I have,
if you have any feedback or suggestions please feel free to send me a message,
In the meantime for those living in Malta, I am available for life coaching (Great time to invest in yourself). My intro session is free, so take this opportunity to try something new.

KEEP WELL

Too Much to Handle

When I left Dubai I promised myself that once I would get to Malta, I would keep myself entertained by all my hobbies & activities.

My interests vary so much, that I sometimes get overwhelmed by choice, and in the process do not make my mind up . This used to happen before, I was a Jack of all trades and Master of none.

I am sure some of you can relate to me. Sometimes we try to do more than we can handle because we think (our belief system) that the busier we are, the better or the more productive we are going to be.

However being too busy does not necessarily mean things are going to be great, being too busy can have its own repercussions.

Being too busy can cost us our health and our sanity.
Being too busy can even cost us our relationships and friendships.

We all need time to relax.
We all need good sleep and
we all need to get reenergized.

So why all the hurry.
Why cram everything in one day ?

Wouldn't it be better if we had good time management?
Wouldn't it be better if we did not need to rush too much?

Thats why some of us tell our friends "I am burned out" or "I am so tired it's not funny". What does this really mean ?????

It means "We are doing more than we can handle".

Imagine you had some guests coming over for Dinner. You expect them in less than an hours time and you need to make a starter, a main, a dessert and also a cocktail. What would happen ? Could you be relaxed ? Would you be rushed ?

Now unless you had the skills of Jamie Oliver, I would presume that making a three course meal in less than an hour was a pretty hard task.

However what if you did one course at a time ?
What if you had the time to make one course at a time and also play music or sing out loud while doing so ?
Would life be easier ?

Most probably it would. We are all different. However, unless you strive under pressure, I would recommend the turtle way. You will arrive at the finish line. You just have to prioritize your tasks.

So if you are trying to do too much and it is affecting your life, STOP NOW.

Take time out to concentrate on what needs to be done first. Give yourself enough time to relax and enjoy yourself.

I have downsized some of my activities and hobbies and the results are amazing. Once I feel it is time to move forward in a particular aspect of my life I will do so.

So here you go:

Become a Master of your own life.
Take time out to reorganize your days.
Take action and make it happen.
Life will be absolutely amazing.

I Hope you got INSPIREd to prioritize what is important to you.
I hope you got Motivated to make good positive change,
If you have any feedback or suggestions,
I would love to hear from you,
Keep Well
AND ABOVE ALL ENJOY THIS BEAUTIFUL LIFE

Public Speaking Mama Mia

One of my missions as a life coach has always been to conquer the fear of public speaking. I had seemed to always pass this on to someone else.

When I sat down and coached myself, one of the first topics on my list was public speaking. Why is it that most of us fear public speaking? What triggers the fear?

I read a book or two on the issue but I always seemed to get distratced along the way and always found myself putting the book down.

I had to do it, I had to conquer Public Speaking.
It is possible. I know so.

A few weeks ago, a friend of my father who runs a football academy in Malta approached me. He asked me wether I would talk at his annual meeting. I accepted the offer straight away as I knew this was my chance to prove myself.

I had to talk for ten minutes. So I took out my stopwatch and tried my Motivational Speech out loud for ten minutes. The first time I managed to talk for 6 minutes, then after 8 minutes, after that 12 minutes. Finally I got on the ten minute mark.

Some of the material was great, some not as great. As I practiced for an hour or so, I kind of got a grip with the right material. I knew what my message was and I knew how to go about it. I wrote down one word that would sum up each topic on a piece of paper (should I forget my direction).

With the speech done, I had to focus on the anxiety that might occur (stage fright). So I sat down took a deep breathe and closed my eyes. I imagined myself when I was just about to get ready to talk, then I imagined greeting the crowd. I then went through my speech, and saw the people clapping after I was done. I did this 5 times in a row.

When the day came, something amazing happened. I did not even get any butterflies at all. My mind knew what had to be done. The only thing I had to concentrate on was my speech.

The speech went amazingly well. I got a great response from the crowd (100 people) and I even got a business offer to do corporate coaching. Now thats awesome. It's awesome because I could have easily passed the offer to someone else.

You see, we know there are things that should be done, sometimes we push them away for tomorrow, yet we know that, if we tackle them today, tomorrow can be even greater.

I feel confident now to talk anytime and anywhere. It's a great feeling. So now, with this done, I have to see whats next on my personal list.

If you have a challenge that might be scary, see how you can put the fear away. Try visualizing how you would like things to go, do not concentrate on what could go wrong, because probably, things will go wrong then, concentrate on the positive, and only greatness can happen.

I hope you can relate to this experience of mine, I hope you can challenge yourself to try. I hope you got INSPIRed.

Keep Well and most of all
Have a wonderful day

Enjoy The Journey

These last weeks have been exciting, challenging and rewarding. I have been looking into the legalities of opening my practice. I have been organizing sales packages and checking out my financial budgets for the year.

At times everything was easy and other times I had to find the right frame of mind not to lose my patience. Then I remember the same story I read on most of my books. Enjoy the journey.

Yes, enjoy the journey. I can already see myself look back at a successful career in Life Coaching, NLP and Public Speaking.
I envision all this every day without fail.

The most interesting challenge has been the marketing aspect of the journey. I know I have a good product. So all I need to do is market myself. So I had to make a Marketing Plan. This would take time, energy and money.

1)I had to ask myself who my ideal client was.
2)I had to ask myself how could I market myself without losing all my savings.
3)I had to ask myself how can I have repeat business and a loyal client base.

The first one was easy. My ideal client is someone who is looking for a new challenge. Someone who might not know were to begin. Someone who might have difficulty with organzing themselves. Someone who has that inner strength but needs a little help to unleash their power.

The second question was my most challenging. I mean I make some money with my coaching, but not enough to support my self yet. This does not discourage me, actually it gives me a boost to find more clients. So with care and attention, my marketing budget came into place.

You will be amazed when you are so keen and passionate about something, how supportive people are around you. So one great friend in particular, who is a marketing guru in Malta gave me some sound advice.

I am now in the process of making smart brochures. I will have new business cards printed too. I shall continue writing on FM magazine every month as a contributor. I shall advertise once or twice a week on the Local Newspaper. I shall post warm letters to homes. I shall send e mails to all my friends and acquaintances to pass the word around, and I shall put small posters at busy establishments. I will give incentives to my clients. If they refer two people to me, they will get a free life coaching session valid for a month, which can be given to anyone.

Even when I am were I want to be, I will not neglect my marketing. It's important to market yourself when you are in the game, not when you are running low.

Thirdly, I believe in word of mouth. I believe in feedback. I believe in customer loyalty. When ever someone comes to me, I will continue to give my full undivided energy to them. I therefore decided to Introduce a free life coaching introduction session, so my clients can find out exactly what benefits I offer. To support my client loyalty I will offer a full back money guarantee to those who have not gained anything what so ever by visiting me. This is how I want to work. I am in for the long run, and it's gonna be great ;)

If you are very passionate about something and cannot get your message out. Approach friends. Approach coaches. Approach Family. Brainstorm as many ideas as you can. See how, why, what effect each idea will have on your time, energy and savings. Get Feedback, use it well. Learn and move on.

Choose what's best. And go for it. Do not give up. Keep pushing.

It might take effort, patience and inner strength. Your challenge might hit you right at the start. The important thing is to show your challenge what you are made of. Be confident. Be strong.

And remember to enjoy the journey.
As Always I remain humble for your support,
Keep Well

A Million Excuses Not To Get the Job Done

A few weeks ago I went into a busy area to conduct a Survey. My mission was to find out how many people knew about life coaching and Neuro Linguistic Programing and also to find out what workshops they would like to do.

One of my questions was this:
Have you attended any workshops or courses on self development or personal growth in the last year or the last five years?

82% of the people I surveyed had not done any in five years.

This to me was amazing. I mean, we all have ambitions and dreams, yet some of us do nothing about it.

I can relate to this, I left school early, I had no ambitions when I was a young teen, except travel the world and help people. I did not know how, when or why, but I just knew this was my direction in life.

The last five years I have attended multiple workshops and courses and this is how I became a Life Coach and NLP practitioner.

So imagine you are working in a job that has no interest to you. You complain about your job constantly. You would love to do something else, yet, you are the Unlucky one. Nothing ever goes your way.

What if, you decided today, to take the first step? What if you decided today to take up a new challenge? What if you decided to save some money for a course or workshop? Could your life change?

Rome was not built in a day, but it was built. Firstly, a plan was put forth. Then a time frame. Then a budget was made. Slowly, slowly and brick by brick a glorious city was erected.

Now imagine you used this as a metaphor to your own life.
You want to build your own kingdom. You imagine opening your own business or you want to work at a better firm or company.

You know that the only thing that is stopping you can be done within a two year period. This already sends shivers down your spine. Two years is too long. "I cant do it" because.........

Excuses, we all have a million, we could write a book called " A million excuses not to get the job done"

When Rochelle my wife and I wanted to come back to Malta, we made a three year financial plan. Now thats a long time... Or is it!! Three years passed since then. As I write this message, I can honestly tell you, both of us are at the happiest stage in our lives. WHy? Because we took action.

I always wanted to become my own boss. Why again? I wanted to be in control of my own time. I did not want to work long hours for anyone but myself. Today I start work at 10am. I am so flexible with my time that I can pretty much do what I like when I like.

Of course like everyone I have to survive financially. So what did I do? I gave myself financial targets to achieve each month.

So if you have a dream today, work on it. Do not leave it for tomorrow. Tomorrow is a day late.

Do some research. Find out exactly what needs to be done. If money is stopping your dreams, save, or change your spending habits a bit (every little counts).

Find out what it takes. Ask someone who is doing what you want to do. See if it is exactly what you want. Push yourself to achieve results.

When you get where you want to get, find out what else you can learn, try to be a step ahead. Money spent on your own self development and personal growth is never waisted.

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE.
BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.
BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. YOU CAN DO IT.

I do hope you have enjoyed this message like I have, if you have any feedback, suggestions or topics you want to discuss please feel free to message me. If you live in Malta and want to find out more about the benefits of life coaching please message me for a FREE coaching session.

Keep Well and have a WONDERFUL day
