Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone

I just read the book called "the answer" by John Assaraf, he was one of the people who participated in the book, "the Secret" and there was one part that I thought I would share with you.

His son was coming of age to start prelimary school. What John did was feed his son with great stories about the school he was attending, like "you should see what great games they have there" or "imagine what fun it is going to be, all the children are your age and they like to play too".

The day John took his son to school, his son could barely wait, as soon as he went near the school door, he ran quickly barely telling his father bye. Only a few meters away another father was wishing his son a good day, however unlike John's son, the boy cried and cried, he did not want to leave the comfort of his father, why ? This was not something he was used too, it was outside his comfort zone.

Many of us feel like this in our every day lives. We practically do the same thing all the time, we hardly go out our comfort zone. What happens then is we condition ourselves to do the same thing all the time. We restrict our true potential. (You know what they say, if you do the same thing all the time, you will get the same results)

Sometimes we have a spark of faith and something deep inside tells us we should try something different. We then try something different for the first time and we do not succeed. We tell ourselves this was out of our reach. Then we try again and again we do not achieve what we wanted to achieve. Suddenly we close the doors. We will never try this again. WHy should we, every time we try we do not succeed. Then a life time passes and we miss out on great opportunities.

Now imagine we keep trying until we get it right or we achieve what we wanted to achieve. How good would that feel. We try something new and again we succeed. This is what you really want. You want to achieve everything you put your mind too. So what if you fail. Ask yourself, what did I learn from this experience. What can I do differently next time.

The answer is to keep trying until you win. When you win the first time try again until you win the second. When you win the second time try again until you win the third time. Eventually the area outside your comfort zone will become your comfort zone. You will look back and say to yourself "Piece of cake", " Ican do it over and over again".

Did you know that if a successful business man had his money taken away, he would remake a good amount of it in about two years.

Have you ever told yourself during the olympics, at one stage it will be impossible to break some records, I mean how fast can a man run and how high can he jump. Yet every olympics world records are broken all the time. If an athlete had to limit himself to what he believes is possible then that athlete would never break any records. During the olympics some athletes got way out of there comfort zone and aimed as high as the sky. In return they got a gold medal.

We all want our gold medals. We have to get out of our comfort zone to get them.

Think of what you can achieve !! Now double your efforts !! Double them again and again.

Eventually you will succeed. When you do. Do it again and again. Then eventually this will become habit. Remember do not limit yourself. Many people might tell you "you cannot" or "you dont have the skills to do it", yet truly, I know, YOU DO...

Now that is the ANSWER.
I hope you enjoyed this message,
I hope you got INSPIREd to get outside your comfort zone,

Keep Well :)
Always
