Imagine how great it would be to get everything you wanted. Imagine if there was a formula you could use to achieve anything. I bet if you knew the formula and you put some energy into it, you would reap the rewards of the end result.
The formula is A + B = C
A - Represents all the skills, knowledge, education and experience you have.
B - Represents all the skills, knowledge, education and experience you do not have.
C - Is your final goal.
I tried the formula myself to see how it works and I was amazed to see that my main goal is coming closer.
My main goal (C) is to become a well known successful life coach that supports himself through his life coaching work.
So I wrote down all the (A) skills, knowledge, education and experience I had since I became a life coach.
Then I wrote down all the (B) skills, knowledge, education, experience that I did not possess.
So the formula said by gaining all the skills, knowledge, education and experience I could get my main goal.
So I wrote down my two lists, A and B to achieve C and there were two areas in which I needed more experience, I had some knowledge in the area but was no expert. I am definitely not a Nutritionist nor a personal fitness trainer, yet in my life coaching package, some of my clients want to have a better understanding of food and of fitness. Although I could motivate and inspire them to start taking care of their bodies and to exercise, I would need professionals to guide them and be more hands on with them in this area. Therefore I started to see who I could include in my network of INSPIRE.
By messaging people and asking around I found a personal trainer, who is as POSITIVE as me. I told him how he could be part of my team. He is currently gathering the information necessary for me to prepare a Portfolio to present to my clients.
I am still looking for a Nutritionist in MAlta, and once I find that person I would be a stones throw away from my goal.
Now imagine you had an idea. You knew it would work. You believed in yourself, yet for some silly, reason like, " I will not open my own restaurant, because I do not know accounting." you do not go ahead with your venture. Well, guess what, you are not the only one, there are others out there who are not accountants too. You cannot be everything. If it is only taking an accountant to fulfill your ambition of being a restauranteur then hey, find one.
Another example would be, you want to become a teacher. You have an A level standard of education and have had previous teaching experience (A) but this partiuclar school you would like to work for wants you to have a basic certificate in computer skills (B).
Your goal is to become a teacher at this school. Your goal would be to get the skills required (B). You know the computer program is a six month course. If you attain this course you will become a teacher, it is s easy as that.
I have applied this formula from Paul McKenna, author and business man, and I have used it in all areas of my own personal life. It works, it really does. FInd out everything you need to have (B) to get your goal, and along with your (A)skills, education, finance, knowledge, fitness level, you will achieve results if you take action.
In order to achieve my goal, I would need people to know about my services. I Therefore used the formula to find ways to increase my networking. With the skills and experience I had (A) I found two ways to start the process. Sunday September the 14th, my first Life Coaching Article "It's not complicated" comes out on FM magazine in Malta (it has a distribution of 30,000). My website www.successlodge.com shall be launched on the same day.
You too can achieve your goals. Try using the formula and see what happens. I know it will work.
I hope you have got INSPIREd to get what you really want.
If you have any feedback, suggestions or any topics you would like to discuss please feel free to message me.
