When I left Dubai I promised myself that once I would get to Malta, I would keep myself entertained by all my hobbies & activities.
My interests vary so much, that I sometimes get overwhelmed by choice, and in the process do not make my mind up . This used to happen before, I was a Jack of all trades and Master of none.
I am sure some of you can relate to me. Sometimes we try to do more than we can handle because we think (our belief system) that the busier we are, the better or the more productive we are going to be.
However being too busy does not necessarily mean things are going to be great, being too busy can have its own repercussions.
Being too busy can cost us our health and our sanity.
Being too busy can even cost us our relationships and friendships.
We all need time to relax.
We all need good sleep and
we all need to get reenergized.
So why all the hurry.
Why cram everything in one day ?
Wouldn't it be better if we had good time management?
Wouldn't it be better if we did not need to rush too much?
Thats why some of us tell our friends "I am burned out" or "I am so tired it's not funny". What does this really mean ?????
It means "We are doing more than we can handle".
Imagine you had some guests coming over for Dinner. You expect them in less than an hours time and you need to make a starter, a main, a dessert and also a cocktail. What would happen ? Could you be relaxed ? Would you be rushed ?
Now unless you had the skills of Jamie Oliver, I would presume that making a three course meal in less than an hour was a pretty hard task.
However what if you did one course at a time ?
What if you had the time to make one course at a time and also play music or sing out loud while doing so ?
Would life be easier ?
Most probably it would. We are all different. However, unless you strive under pressure, I would recommend the turtle way. You will arrive at the finish line. You just have to prioritize your tasks.
So if you are trying to do too much and it is affecting your life, STOP NOW.
Take time out to concentrate on what needs to be done first. Give yourself enough time to relax and enjoy yourself.
I have downsized some of my activities and hobbies and the results are amazing. Once I feel it is time to move forward in a particular aspect of my life I will do so.
So here you go:
Become a Master of your own life.
Take time out to reorganize your days.
Take action and make it happen.
Life will be absolutely amazing.
I Hope you got INSPIREd to prioritize what is important to you.
I hope you got Motivated to make good positive change,
If you have any feedback or suggestions,
I would love to hear from you,
Keep Well
AND ABOVE ALL ENJOY THIS BEAUTIFUL LIFE
